Rev. Roberto Ochoa is originally from East Los Angeles, CA and currently is the Minister for Ethnic Inclusion and Congregational Support for Rural and Small Churches in the National Setting of the United Church of Christ. Roberto is a member of Mt Zion Congregational UCC in Cleveland, OH.

Roberto serves congregations by providing UCC and ecumenical resources for congregational assessment, support, and advancement, especially for rural, ethnic identified and congregations of Color. He is the national staff representative on an initiative on UCC Small Town and Rural (STAR) churches and ministries coalition.

Prior to his call to the UCC national setting in 2018, Roberto pastored Lake View Congregational Church, UCC for seven years in Worcester, MA and has been active in the UCC since 1999, serving as Sunday school teacher, church council member, and on various boards and commissions within the historical MA Conference and the Heartland Conference of the UCC.

Roberto earned his Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School (2017) with Certificates in Ethics and Social Justice; and in Spiritual and Pastoral Care. He did his undergraduate work in Macalester College, St. Paul, MN and Becker College, Worcester, MA.
